So this week's challenge issued by Susan R. on the Simplicity blog is to Stamp a Scene. I knew instantly that I wanted to use this lovely lighthouse image that I got from Cornish Heritage Farms a few years ago. However, I didn't know exactly what I would do with it. In the end, I stamped the image with Close to Cocoa ink and then added the pale brown organza ribbon and a few sea shells for embellishments.
This was a great CAS challenge becuase I do tend to color in this image (although I have created other cards HERE and HERE where the image is just stamped). It is always fun to have alternative ways to use your stamps!!
Off to see what other "scenes" are used in the challenge!

Seashells with a light house are a perfect match. I love the fact that you chose cocoa and the vintage look.
Thanks for your enthusiasm about my card, I look forward to seeing your CASE.
I agree with everyone. The seashells are perfect with this lighthouse. I think it is a beautiful card. I have the set so I can case you. lol!
Those shells are absolutely PERFECT! What a beautiful card, Donelda!
Beautiful CAS card and those tiny sea shells are the perfect embellishment!
Such a pretty card! Lighthouses make great scene cards (I used one, too!) and are just so calming. They make great masculine cards too! Love your addition of seashells.
This simple lighthouse is stunning and I love the ribbon with the shell. Nice touch.
Absolutely wonderful! Love your focal image and the shell embellie is perfect!
The card is so lovely and the embellishments complement the scene so brilliantly.
Hi Donelda, your scene stamp is so cool. It stands so good, with that perfect embellishments.
Donelda your scene is so peaceful and beautiful. I love the shell embellishments!
I love just the stamped image...now see, I would probably have felt the urge to color it in...but it really doesn't need it...so pretty and peaceful!!!
This is so serene, and the shells are just gorgeous.
Love the minimalist look with a touch of natural elements.
