smARTworks - sympathy blue

Sympathy cards are always so hard to create. I always want a clean and simple look but with some warmth. Every once in a while I set to making a few to have on hand just in case. This one was much easier to make using the smARTworks newly released set called Purpose Small. It has this wonderful silhouette of flowers and some nice verses. There are also a few
birthday related verses so it is really versatile!!
The stitching around the main blue card from brings a little warmth and dimension to this card. I added a bit of stickles on the flowers.
So, have you heard about the new 'smART bucks' over at smARTworks??? You earn smARTbucks and then get to redeem them for more rubber!! You can't go wrong with that!!! Head over there and check it out for yourself!!
Supplies: Stamps- Purpose Small (smARTworks), Ink-Basic Black (Stampin' Up!), Cardstock- Whisper White card base (Stampin' Up!), blueberry (Candi); Other-sewing maching, black thread, Stickles (Ranger).
Thanks for dropping in! Donelda

This card is gorgeous, Donelda! It's the perfect example of CAS which in turn is perfect for a sympathy card. I actually have this stamp and have been too swamped to even ink it up; thanks for the inspiration to get moving on that!
