Excitment and Christmas Cards - Post #1

Okay, so I am figuring it is time to post a Christmas card. You may have been wondering if I've even been making any but I have. You'll see them all, I've just been keeping them to myself for a little while!
But first, I have a few exciting things to share:
1) Don't forget about the smARTworks tea party tomorrow!! The challenge is to stamp an ornament!! How easy peasy is that??!! All the design team members will be sharing their creations tomorrow morning and you can play too! Just leave a comment with a link to your project on one of our blogs and we'll add you to the list!!
2) Some of you might have seen my mug in the Papertrey Ink December Newsletter! Wow, I am so excited to be featured!! I almost fell over when I read Lynn's email asking if I would be a willing participant! Thanks to everyone who left such kind comments!!
And now about this pretty simple card. It was a cinch!! I stamped a snowflake off once on scrap paper and then again onto some Whisper White cardstock and then stamped over it with the sentiment. I cut it down to the size I wanted and scalloped one edge. A few blue rhinstones for some holiday bling!! The rest was easy. I used a panel of Soft Sky cardstock that had been run through a cuttlebug folder (not mine, but my friend Geri's - Hi Geri!!). Then I attached that to a white card base and added that pretty ribbon. Isn't it cute. I got it out of the dollar bin at Michael's!! Supplies: Stamps-Holiday Wishes (Papertrey Ink), Snowflakes (Stampin' Up!); Ink - Basic Black, Soft Sky (Stampin' Up!); Paper-Whisper White, Soft Sky (Stampin' Up!); Other-Ribbon (Michael's), scallop scissors (Provo Craft), rhinstones (unknown).
Thanks for droppng in. I'll see you all tomorrow with my stamped Christmas ornament!!
