Wooden Valentine

Sorry I didn't post last night but I was over at a friends house (Hi Geri!!) to visit and make cards. Geri is my SU demo and has every product and card making supply....including a cuttlebug!! She was kind enough to let me use it which I did in order to make this card.
Julia was back this week for Ways to Use it Challenge (150) and this week she challenged us to use paint!! I love using paint!! I have these great wooden hearts that I bought at Kmart for about 1.00!! So I painted them with white and then I added a bit of pink here and there!!
I added them onto this beautiful white card that I cuttlebugged with the little folders. If you want more details on how to exactly get this effect, you have to check out Sharon's blog (No Time To Stamp) since I totally cased it from her!!
Supplies: Cardstock-Whisper White (SU), Ink-Basic Black (SU), Stamps-Fancy Flexible Phrases(SU), Accessories-Wooden hearts (Walmart), white and red acrylic paint, cuttlebug and folder (thanks to Geri!!), pink ribbon (SU).
Thanks for visiting!

Wonderful card, looks very pretty!

You asked on my blog about two backgrounds, they are both made with alcohol inks from ranger.

Thanks so much for your advice on the TK stamps. I've never tried gamsol or prisma-pencils (?) I really didn't want to have to buy anything different, but if they make that big a difference then I will! I'll take a looksy at your gallery :) THANKS SO MUCH!!
