I enjoy the clean & simple blog from Natasha and her gang so much! Their Fall To Layouts are great inspiration and I use them often. This week is their 100th Fall to Layout so I thought I'd play along. They are having a blog hop so you should go and check out all the great cards created for this 100th layout.
My card is fairly clean and simple. It is a vanilla card base with this wonderful striped designer paper on top (Cosmo Cricket, I think). The oval sentiment and ribbon are Scarlet Jewel (Papertrey Ink) to pick up the darkest reds from the designer paper! I used my "hi tech" decorative scissors to cut the scallop since I don't own any such punch or die! The scissors work just as well for me!!
If you love the sketch as much as I do, make sure you link your project up over at the clean & simple site so we can all see your creation!!
Thanks for dropping in!

Beautiful beautiful card Donelda.. I loved how nicely you have cut the scallops with your scissors. Really neat.
Great take on the sketch Donelda!! Thanks for playing with us!
These Fall-To layouts are so perfect for showcasing fun DPs, just like the one here! Your sentiment really pops on the bold paper, too!!
Absolutely gorgeous! What a great use of the striped paper!
