Corrosive Challenge #36 - No Cards!!

This is the 4th Post that I have put up tonight. All are posts for challenge cards or projects. Please make sure you scroll down to see my 2 Sketches 4 You card, my Moxie Fab card, and my BasicGrey Ooops card as well!! So this week, the Corrosive Challenge #36 is to not make a card. Well, that sounds pretty easy right!! I've had this idea sitting in my head for a while. I saw one a while ago but it was saved to my computer before it crashed and now I have no idea where I saw it. If anyone recognizes this project please leave me a link to the original creator so I can give credit and so that I can see that blog again...I remember it was filled with lovely things!! So, you are thinking, what's the big deal, it's a round card and doesn't even fit with the challenge.... well think again!! It isn't a card at all....or at least it isn't a traditional card.
See how it is really an old ribbon spool...that I have altered.
And look , there is the message...it unrolls from
the spool!! Cool hey!! I got stuck because I didn't know how I was going to get the strip of paper to stay in place when it is rolled up. I ended up usign a tiny piece of velcro!
So ladies....save your old ribbon spools! When I re-organized all my ribbons onto cardboard I did save the best spools so I can make a whole bunch of these!!!
Enjoy!!
