Gold Medallion Father's Day card

This was one of my entries for the Papertrey Ink Guest Star Stamper contest. It didn't win or anything, probably becasue it didn't use much in terms of the new stamps but I like it just the same.
The round stamp from the Simple Little Things set kept being referred to as a medallion. So, I decided that I had to make exactly that with it, a medallion.
I used multiple layers of gold embossing powder on a piece of light cardboard. Then, when the embossing powder was still hot and liquidy, I pushed the circle stamp into it. I cut it out and added it to this simple card. I think it makes quite a statement!!

Supplies: Paper-red (bazzill), Black, white (SU!); Ink-Versamark; Stamps-Simple Little Things, Father Knows Best (Papertrey Ink); Other-light cardboard, gold embossing powder.

Thanks for looking.
