On Jay Gee's Nook there is a challenge that is always pretty interesting but I rarely get a chance to actually play. So I made an effort this week to get a card made and actually uploaded in time!! Challenge #13 is to use a holiday stamp to create a non-holiday card! Sheesh, that was hard!! But here is my end result ... a fun Country Scene!!
Lots of Christmas trees (from Made of Snow - Papertrey Ink)... but on a bright sunny day, they just look like good old pine trees. Here is a side photo of some of the dimension ...
And see those polka dots on the clouds ... they are actually the 3 buttons from the snowman repeatedly stamped (from same set). Sentiment is from Round and Round (anniversary set- Papertrey Ink). All papers are BasicGrey ...yummy!!
Off to see what others did...
Thanks for dropping by for a little visit!! Come again some time :-)

Donelda, this is perfect! I love the color scheme and how you've layered the trees. I have been struggling to wrap my noggin around this challenge! :D
I like this twist on the usual "make a Christmas card with non-festive stamps". I love the cute trees and the polka-dot clouds!
Ooh, this one is gorgeous too! I love it!
Fantastic scene card Donelda! Such a cheerful, fun card that is really quite adorable. So glad you joined in the fun with us at Jay Gee's :)
You have created a beautiful scene, Donelda ! How versatile christmas stamps are.
Whoa, Nelly!!!! What a fab scene, so perfectly proportioned and such fun colors!!!!
So cool!! Love these trees. I love trees, no matter what kind of stamp it is. Love your design.
Donelda, wow! Gorgeous card! I love everything about this card, especially the blue clouds. Thanks for playing along with us this month ... Ange
