Susan R. makes her One Layer Wednesday (OLW) challenges a real challenge. This time the challenge was to use yellow (#35). I had to cheat a bit with this card becuase there is a brad that holds the frame in place and I just don't like the backs of the brads showing through to the inside of the card. So, I did add a whole other white layer onto the white card base. I hope everyone can excuse this little oversight !! If I wasn't so paticular ... the brads would show on the inside of a one layer card!! LOL!! I'm sure our AR/OC leader will understand ... right Susan??

Thanks for dropping by.
I hope you have a relaxing Saturday. We are supposed to get a ton of snow!! Yikes!!

Hi there, what a gorgeous card, I LOVE it! I know what you mean about brads and their backs, drives me nuts!
Thanks for your very kind words on my blog, I think you could be right yellow is growing in my appreciation since this challenge LOL :0) xx
This is so beautiful!
I'm with you on brads not showing inside a card... I often cut off the legs from a brad and adhere it with a small dimensional!

This is a lovely, lovely card.
beautiful card! I'm with you on the back of the brad showing...I always try to cover it up!
What a very pretty card! I love that frame... and I'm with you on the brad legs! ;)
Great job on a tough challenge!
WOW Donelda, this is so BEAUTIFUL !! Absolutely lovely with this little rose.
Yeah, I've been meaning to talk to you about all the cold and snowy air masses you Canandians keep exporting to the US. Y'all gotta stop doing that!
All is forgiven on the card...of COURSE you had to hide the brad butt. You did it cleanly and perfectly, and this card is absolutely stunning! Thanks for playing along, Donelda!
your card is gorgeous!!
Just lovely! I know what you mean about the back of brads!!
This is a stunning card, Donelda. Fantastic combination of the little rose and the frame.

Beautiful card. I can't stand the back of brads showing either. I always cover them with an extra sheet of cs too.
A beautiful and unusual card.
