A Moo or Two - Easter

When I saw the latest challenge for the Moo or Two site I knew I needed to pull out this smARTworks set!  It is my favorite for Easter cards!

Here are my moos.  I stamped the images onto kraft cardstock and then colored them in using my Prismacolor pencil crayons!  Not sure why but I love to do that with these images becuase the bunnies are so fun to color in white!  Added a few strips of designer paper.  The swirls are a Memory Box stamp a bought a few years ago and seem to forget about!

Off to see what everyone created for the last challenge (too bad I was away - script would have been fun!) and for this one so far!

Have a great Sunday!

Easter Chick

I am in a swap with a few ladies on SCS called a Secret Sister swap.  It is so much fun!  We don't swap cards, we swap supplies for cards.  In my most recent package I recieved just about everything you see here .. the image, the doily (that is a PTI die cut doily folks -- oops, I just had word that this is a different company die), and the designer paper.  Can you believe all that goodness!!  I colored the image with my copics.  I even took a photo of all the ones I used in case you wanted to know.  It was fun to have some new lighter colors which made coloring the image in much easier!!
This card will go to my mom for Easter!  It was so much fun to create! Thanks so much Secret Sister!!!  I am enjoying all the fun items you are sending.

Thanks for dropping in for a visit today.

Spring Bunnies

I love using my Prismacolor pencil crayons on Kraft paper. I stamped these cute little bunnies (smARTworks) onto some scrap Kraft paper and colored it in with my pencil crayons. Then, I cut them out with the 'Joy' sentiment. I stamped some swirly-gigs from the smARTworks set of the same name using Versamark ink. I popped the small images up using dimensionals!! I love that layout!!! I hope you have an enjoyable day!! Donelda

Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge 58 - Green, Brown and White

There is really not much to say!! I found these hard felt items (eggs and bunnies too!) in my local Dollarama last year at Easter. I knew that the green egg and some brown text would be perfect for the Clean and Simple Challenge #58 at SCS - to use shades of green and brown pluse white or cream. Need I say more?? Have a great evening!! Donelda

Bunny Borders

I have been thinking about this little bunny stamp for the last few weeks. Every year around Easter I always want to make cards with him. When I saw the colors over on the Embellish Magazine challenge I knew that I could combine the image and these colors.
Part of the challenge was to use borders. I took the 4 colors and cut them using my old decorative scissors, the scallop ones. Then I lined them all up on a piece of white cardstock. I added a bit of dots and strips on the pink and some white twill.
The bunny was stamped and then matted. Then he was popped up with dimensionals as was this whole piece onto a white card base.
Supplies: Stamps - Delight in Nature (SU!, retired), Beyond Basic Borders, Faux Ribbon (Papertrey Ink); Paper - Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, scrap pink and yellow; Ink - Groovy Guava, White (SU!); other - white twill (Papertrey Ink), dimensionals, scallop scissors (Provo Craft), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers).
I think I'm going to check out and see what everyone else did with these colors.
Thanks for dropping in!
