Inspiration Day 4 - Book Cover

It's Saturday and that means another Inspiration Day.
Today I took my inpsiration from this book that we have at our house. I was looking at the cover the other day when it happened..."this would be a great layout for a card" and then I remembered it could be an Inspiration Piece.
I started out by cutting some vanilla cardstock into squares that would fill a regular A2 size card. Then, I pulled out a bunch of my smARTworks stamps that would go together on the squares. I randomly stamped bits and pieces of the images onto the squares and overstamped with a few background stamps. I then used the various Distress Inks that I have (in shades of brown) and distressed each individual piece. I adhered them and added the sentiment.
It ended up a bit on the busy side and fairly masculine.
Stamps used: WD-220 Lock and Key, Watch Trio, WD-196 Feathers, BG14, and the sentiment is from FS-03 Swirly Gigs (all from smARTworks), also used French Script and Linen background stamps (Stampin' Up!); Inks - Walnut Stain, Tea Dye, Antique Linen (all Ranger Distress Inks).
So, does this book cover Inspire you?? If so, create something (whether it is based on the colors or layout or theme....whatever) and leave me a link so I can check it out!!
Have a great crafty day!!
