Hubby's Sympathy Card

Yes, this is a very sad day. You see, my husband's favorite shirt finally wore out!! Yup, can't be worn any longer and he was terribly broken up about it. He threw it out in the garbage but I secretly pulled it out and snatched a small bit of it....cause I KNEW I had to make a card out of it!!
I have used removable glue on the sentiment so that I could initially give it to hubby as a sympathy card for his shirt. Inside temporarily reads "We are so sorry about your loss. Time will heal the pain. Remember the good memories". At first he didn't get it and then it made sense and he had a great laugh!!
The sketch follow's Beate's Weekend Sketch #37. I will replace the sentiment with a Happy Birthday as this will make a great masculine birthday card!!
See, you never know what beauty lies in your garbage :-)
Thanks for visiting.

So funny, Donelda! And yet another example of your amazing ability to take everyday items and turn them into crafting masterpieces.

I wonder if hole-y Tshirts would work as well. Oh, I bet the jeans would! Thanks for more inspiration!!
