Take 3 Challenge - Foxy - Take 3

Hello and welcome to my Take 3 card using this adorable fox from Imaginisce.  I made the
focal point of this card based on THIS card from Kristina Werner.  I'm not sure why I love
that so much but I do and had to recreate it.

I tried to capture the circle designer paper (that I received from one of my Secret Sisters in the past, Banu) because it has soft fuzzy circles on it ... perfect for the sentiment (from Hero Arts)!

Cute!!  I love this little Foxy and I know you will see him lots in the future!!

Well, another Take 3 Challenge success.  If you decide to try doing your own Take 3 Challenge, I'd love to see.  Just leave me a comment  so I can drop by your corner of the www!

Take 3 Challenge - Foxy - Take 2

Hi and welcome back.   Today I bring you Take 2 using this great Imaginisce image ... I like to call him Foxy!  This time, I colored in the image with my Copics and added a bit of designer paper and buttons.

I adore giraffe's and foxes!  This guy is so cute with his shifty little eyes.  A bit different than my Take 1 card in that you can actually find him ... but still made using orange.  A fox has to be orange, right??!!  Well, maybe not.  To see, you will have to come back tomorrow and see my Take 3 card ... it is totally different from either of these cards.  Like usual, I've saved my favourite for last!!

See  you tomorrow.

Take 3 Challenge - Foxy - Take 1

Hello and welcome to yet another Take 3 Challenge!  This week I wanted to use this awesome fox stamp from Imaginisce (one of their Snag 'em Stamps).  Here is Take 1 using the stamp.  I'd love to take credit for this brilliant idea but I can't ... it belongs to Lisa Spangler as seen here on THIS post.  Brilliant, which is why I had to try it too!!

Talk about Clean and Simple!!   LOL!!

So make sure you drop back by tomorrow to see my Take 2 card using this cute little fox.  Similar and yet different!!

Giraffe Wishes

Banu was my Secret Sister for a swap we were in.  She sent me the most wonderful things, including this adorable giraffe stamp by Imaginisce.  How did she know that I LOVE giraffes??!!  and isn't he an adorable one!  I think he would make great baby cards but I am trying to increase my birthday stash these days.

I kept the overall card pretty clean and simple.  The yellow background paper is BasicGrey (also from Banu!) and the polka dot is another piece of Au Chocolat (Stampin' Up! retired).  I continue to try to use up some of the huge amounts of scraps I have laying around.  Some days I'm tempted to just throw them away and start from scratch!!  But I just can't!!

Have a great day!!

Off to check out the other cards made for this very interesting sketch.

Clean and Simple (CAS) - Crayon Cards

The Clean and Simple #31 challenge for this week is "Pop It Up". Well I can easily do that!! I actaully sat down last night and create 16 cards using dimensionals (I got on a creative run and didn't stop until late into the night...work is going to hurt today!). But unfortunately I didn't get any photos done. No fear, I've had these little cuties sitting and waiting to be posted! Very Clean and Simple!! The crayons are from Imaginisce (Teacher's Pet Collection - Crayons). I cut one of the crayons off so I could just stamp one at a time if I wanted. I stamped it onto scratch paper, water colored one in red and one in blue and cut them out. Then, I borrowed a red and blue crayon from my son and wrote the sentiment on the white card. Then using dimensionals, I strategically placed the crayon!! Enjoy your day!! Donelda
