Star Ornaments - Tim Holtz style

I need some help. I want your input!! You need to tell me whether you would buy these star ornaments at a craft sale if you saw them. If you would buy them, why? If you would not buy them, why not? It is okay, I am fine with some honest feedback (as long as you are kind about it!!) I appreciate your help!
Can you tell I've been reading Tim Holtz's blog?? These are totally done in his distressing style! If you haven't checked out his blog you MUST !! He is doing some awesome techniques and giving away some increadible prizes each day!!
These star ornaments I got at Michaels for $1.00. I covered them with vanilla acrylic paint, being careful to leave lots of spaces to make it look kinda weathered. Then, I added some metallic gold paint to the spots I'd missed and added some here and there around the edges. Next, I used Walnut Stain or Broken China distressing ink and stamped on the images. I covered these with clear embossing powder. I also added the Believe sentiment from the Papertrey Ink's Believe set. It is such a beautiful font! Then, I sponged some of the distressing ink around the edges of the star. On the swirl star, I also sponged a bit of barely banana (SU) craft ink to highlight some of the more white spaces.
So, what do you think?? Would you buy these or not?? I am looking for some kind but honest opinions... and some understading of what you did like or what you did not like about them!! Thanks for your time in commenting.
Thanks for visiting!!!

I just left a comment on SCS but had to visit your blog for more details. I totally love the snowflake ornament but the swirl ornament is not my favorite. The base is beautiful but I personally think the swirls are too dark or maybe it's just that I'm not a huge fan of swirls! I do love these samples and look forward to more. Now I have to go check out Tim Holtz's blog.

I came over from SCS, too. They look do-able, but they also look like a lot of work. I would have never thought of this!

I totally love them!! If I saw them at a craft sale, and I had money in my pocket . . . I would definitely BUY them. I love the swirls and the snowflakes. I love that they look more vintage. I use a lot of keepsake stuff on my tree. My tree is not one of those neat and tidy only red and gold trees--for sure, so these would go perfect with all of my little keepsake ornaments. Terrific! :) Kelly

Me personally: I would inspect them then try to make them at home, lol! In fact I'm really glad you posted your instructions so I can make some :D But I know lots of people that LOVE these types of things and would rather buy than make them! These are beautiful! I'm sure they will sell at a craft fair!

These are great ornaments! My favorite is the snowflake one as well, but I tend to be in a 'snow' phase just now. The only addition I can think of is maybe a ribbon or twine bow at the top, at the top of the star, under the hanger loop? Then again, I tend to be a little addicted to ribbon, too! Great job, wiggy!

I really like both of these, I think that they would most definately sell at a craft fair, I would but them to put on my tree, or to give to my frinds to put on their trees, they would make a good gift for one of those secret santa pressies!
