Doily #6 - Butterfly Time

Here is another doily based on Christine Middlecamp's awesome project. I will not be making a piece of decorative wall art, like she is doing, but will likley use my doily creations on cards or on altered items, like gift boxes.
This doily includes a few neat items:
- The dotted background is clear embossed dots with a mixture of Broken China distress ink (Ranger) and Garden Green classic ink (Stampin' Up!) sponged on top. It ended up being a great color.
- The clock (both cardstock and transperancy that is laid on top) is not a piece of chipboard but a creation out of a smARTworks stamp.
- The butterfly is cut out from a piece of BasicGrey paper - such beautiful butterflies!!
Well, I have a whole bunch more to create! There is a Flickr group for these doily creations so you should check that out if you are interested.
Thanks for dropping in!

I found you via Jessica, and I have been making the embellished doilies too! I love yours, I haven't decided what to do with mine yet - the idea of a wall piece is tempting but then....hmmm..such decisions eh? lol
