Twin Birthday

We have twin neices who share a birthday early in the new year. This year I decided to make them similar yet different cards. One of the girls is quite "girly" and likes pretty things. She will even wear a dress! For her card I used red and a flower silhouette. The other girl is more of a tom-boy and enjoys sports. She wouldn't be caught dead in a dress!! LOL. For her, I chose Chocolate Chip ink and kept to a more subtle ribbon.
I hope they like the cards and the enclosed gift cards. However, my husband is struggling to get something written inside of them. Really, what is it about men and birthday cards??!! These cards are now late!! They would have been on time, or at least close, if he had written in them and mailed them last week when I had gotten them done...but now they are late!! sheesh!!!!
Supplies: Stamps-Stem Silhouettes (Stampin' Up!), Simple Little Things (Papertrey Ink); Paper-Whisper White, Real Red, Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!); Ink - Real Red, Chocolate chip (Stampin' Up!); Other-red and brown ribbons (Stampin' Up!), Versamark, white embossing powder.
Thanks for dropping by. Leave me a comment so I know you were here!!

Great work with my favorite stamp set! I love how you made cards for twins, I think the girls will appreciate the difference.

This is so funny! I had this set in my hand earlier today and thought, gee, I ought to do something with this since I just HAD to have it, and now I click on your blog and you've posted two adorable and very CASE-able cards with it. Thanks so much!

These are beautiful, Donelda!! Wow! I am sure the girls will love them.

Second epiphany was -- "Oooh, I am supposed to create them and then have my husband come up with the saying for the inside?!" ahhh, I see. I have been taking it easy on him. All he usually does is sign his name. *slaps forehead* :) Kel

What a great idea for twin cards! And I like them both; what does that say about my style?? I'll go with 'eclectic'!

SERIOUSLY??? I do all the writing in the cards - Tim usually gives a nod that the card is sufficient!!! LOL

Regardless, the cards are both awesome and seem to suit their personalities well!!! They will love them even if they are late!!!

Nice job!!!
