that I like to create clean and simple cards, embellished cards, vintage cards...you name it, I like to do it!! True, I have been on a bit of a clean and simple streak lately, but I had lots of heavily embellished cards to choose from!!
I decided to go with this very heavily layered and embellished card -- quite a challenge!! And I ended up with this card.
I stamped this wonderful branch of leaves and then layered the sentiment over some of it. I finished off the card by adding a white flower with a brad in the middle. The brad does not go all the way through the card, just the flower and I snipped off the ends. I adhered the flower with some glue dots!
Supplies: Stamps-Beautiful Blooms, Wishing You (Papertrey Ink); Ink - Spring Moss (Papertrey Ink), Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!); Paper - Whisper White (Stampin' Up!); Other - flower (Artemio), brad (a dollar store).
I am going over to the CAS30 gallery to see what everyone else did!! This was such a fun challenge, I might even simplify a few more of my heavily embellished cards... just for fun!!
Thanks for your comments, I truely appreciate it!!
Donelda
Fabulous job remaking that card Donelda!
ReplyDeleteThe original was beautiful, but WOW, the make over really says CAS! Lovely job, Donelda!
ReplyDeleteI really like the original card, Donelda, but I think I like the new, improved version even better! Perfect classy elegance!!
ReplyDeleteSimple yet so sweet! I do love the original though. I have a weak spot for ribbon...and the way you used that daisy in the center is so sweet! I hope to be able to play along with this challenge later on this week! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect makeover! Love it!
