Here is another card that uses my new Sookwang tape and ultra fine glitter!! It was a lot of fun to make!
I stamped the compass onto the tape backing using StazOn and then carefully cut out one side of the points using my hobby knife. Then I added the silver glitter. Then I cut out the other side of the points and added the brown glitter. Finally, I cut around the inner circle and added the blue glitter (note that each time I had to restamp the image as the "rubbing" or burnishing of the glitter made the StazOn rub off).
Then, I cut out the glittered section and adheared it to anoter full image stamped onto white cardstock. The rest of the card is fairly straight forward. I chose the dotted circles to cover the brown card base since they repeated the dotted circle around the compass! It seemed a natural choice.
I had entered this for the Papertrey Ink Guest Star Stamper contest in May but it didn't win. That's okay, though, I am really proud of it and will send it off to my dad for father's day!!
Supplies: Stamps-Father Knows Best, Borders & Corners {circle} (both Papertrey Ink); Ink-Chocolate Chip, Craft White, StazOn Jet Black (all from SU!); Paper- Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, chocolate Chip (All SU!); Other - Sookwang tape, Jewel Glitter, brown hemp, hobby knife.
Thanks for visiting.

You should be proud of it, girl! I think it is very nice, very glittery, and lots of tedious work with the hobby knife and different glitter. Terrific job!! :) Kelly
